The role of Escapade Travel Insurance is therefore to recommend the coverage that best suits your situation and your needs. And, of course, you have the choice to subscribe or not.

Data submitted
The information requested in our questionnaires is required in order to assess your situation. If your application is accepted, the insurance contract will be based on this information. It is therefore very important that you respond truthfully to the various questions, because any concealment, omission or false statement may nullify the guarantees in your policies, result in their cancelation or in a reduction of coverage.

Payment
Your subscription to the insurance contracts offered on ViaEscapade.com is subject to online payment of the premium via credit card.

Security, confidentiality and integrity
The payment information you provide is protected using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. You will see the security icon appear in your browser window whenever you are in a secure area of the site. Your online payment is secure: when you enter your credit card number and expiry date, this information is encrypted, which means the number has not actually been sent out onto the Web.

Email confirmation policy
When your subscription becomes active, you will receive a confirmation email containing the following Information:
– Terms and conditions
– The insurance policy
– An emergency card with emergency numbers
– Confirmation of insurance
You must print these documents, as you will not receive hard copies. The date that your coverage comes into effect is indicated on the confirmation of insurance.

Policy Cancellation and Refund
Insurance policies may be canceled or their premiums refunded depending on the insurer’s terms. However, you may exercise cancel your contract within ten (10) working days from the date of purchase. You will not be subject to any charges if you cancel within this ten-day period. The refund will be processed within thirty (30) days from the date of request. Please refer to your insurance certificate for the terms and conditions associated with canceling your contract.
